I can not express how excited I am that Chad and Natalie are getting married! Natalie is the perfect fit for my brother. We already feel like she is was apart of our family now it is going to be official. My kids call her Aunt Natalie and both love her. Parker is CRAZY about her. Chad has become a better guy since being with her and I am so proud of him and the man that he seems to be becoming.
He purposed to her while we were at dinner celebrating his 25th birthday. We just happened to be celebrating his 25th birthday in the same place they had their first date (Neely's BBQ). In my family as kind of a running joke the adult who's birthday it is gives out goodie bags to everyone who comes to there party (a.k.a. dinner). Chad brought the goodie bags and in each goodie bag it had candy and something unique to each person (Reese had a tiera, Parker had basketballs, Dads had whoopee cushions and so on) He handed them out and we all watched and laughed as each person opened their goodie bags. When Natalie's turn came she opened her bag and in the bag along with M&M's was a ring box. when she realized that it wasnt just a joke but that there was a real diamond ring in there she turned to look at chad who was by this time on his knee and asked her to marry him. It was really special. It was just as emotional watching how nervous Chad was before he ever did it. It was really special that he aloud all of us to be there as he did it. He REALLY wanted her to be caught off guard and boy was she.
CONGRATULATIONS TO CHAD AND NATALIE!!!!
