Choose your words wisely.

Here is the other semi good picture.

Just in case the grandparents wanted to buy one I took a picture with my camera to show them. I didn't get it because my nostrils are flared and it really doesn't even look like me. However it is great of Parker and his affection for his baby sister to come. If you cant see he is trying to eat her in this picture.

HERE IS THE STORY...
This morning Parker woke up in a great mood, so I thought I would take him and get his picture taken. I got him dressed and headed to the mall (40 min away). When we got there he understood he was going to get his picture taken and if he was a good boy then he would get to ride the merry-go-round. He said "cheese" all the way to the studio and when we got there he talked to the photographer as if he had known him his entire life. However when it came time to stand on the white back drop he would have no part of it. It kind of became funny because he would say "cheese" while standing behind the photographer and he would play with the guy and make all the animal noises the guy asked him to make, all without coming anywhere near the back drop. After about 20 minutes of this I decided to see if he would stand there with me. He did and we got a few pictures but they were not good enough to buy. The worst part is after all that effort he did in fact deserve to go on the merry-go-round because he had been a "good boy" he just hadn't stood in the right spot while doing it. He told me all the way to the merry-go-round "I was a good boy mommy". I was disappointed but I just kept on repeating the advice that everyone always gives: "choose your battles" and this time Parker won.

HOWEVER, my new advice if you have a 2 year old is: choose your words wisely because they will do what you say not what you mean. :)

SO funny!! Parker is adorable. It's so neat to see him with more and more of you and Cason's characteristics blooming in him! I love it.

hi randi!
i'm so happy you started this blog. what a beautiful picture of you and parker. i'm so sorry to hear about his arm. from my experience with a two year old in an arm cast (my brother years ago) the worst part will be bath time...and when it starts to itch!
yeah, good luck with that ;0).
btw: your tummy is so cute!

Randi!
I came across your blog through my sister-in-law's blog--Amanda! Those pictures turned out so cute. It makes me want to do pregnancy pictures with my 18 month old--great idea!
