SOCCER MAY NOT BE OUR SPORT..not now anyways

Reese wanted to play
Parker was all about the warm ups. He is actually probably just trying to keep that kid from stealing his ball. He thought that everyone was taking stuff from him and he did not like it!

This looks good but what you don't know is we are the only ones there and it was just he and I playing. He wasn't feeling the other people.

look how little he looks. Great reminder that he is still just a baby!

Parker wasn't feeling his first game so much. He really didn't like all the other kids "stealing" his ball as he put it. He really didn't like how fast pace things were moving. It was a little traumatic for him. At practice tonight he got out there and did all the drills and seemed to be really enjoying himself. He likes practice best, mainly because everyone has their own ball. He hasn't quite gotten the hang of the game yet. Hopefully by the end of the season he will like it a little more and I wont feel like I am torturing him. That's not true he does like being with his friends. Lexi, Hyrum and Dylan (even though Dylan's not even on our team..don't tell Parker) He loves being around them and playing with them so he is torn sometimes between wanting to get to play with them and not wanting to play soccer at all.

If you saw my original post its gone because I just decided I wanted to keep that private for now. But prayers are still welcome.

if this is making you crazy curious, don't be I'm just a young mom worrying about her kid, wondering if I could do things better, but what mom doesn't.

I can't offer you much advice, but I will definitely be praying for all of you and know that God is present in this situation right now and He is working, as difficult as it may seem.

I don't have a lot of advice besides consulting your pediatrician, but my friend's little boy has had the same problems with anxiety. So it may be sort of common. Dylan was one who loved to put his cars in a straight line and would freak out if one was moved. Besides that he was opposite of autistic. I can understand what you are saying though. When Dylan's teacher told me Dylan had issues with "getting angry" at preschool and needed to work on keeping his emotions in check, I felt bothered like he should be "perfect" (i know your situation is more serious than this) but I can see where you are coming from. Anyways not sure if any of this helps but i will say a prayer for Parker. He is such a cute little guy and I felt so bad for him reading this post. I am sure he will get better though!

Hi Randi. I just checked the blog, so I missed your original post. Nevertheless, you seem really worried about one of your precious babies and I just wanted you to know that I will be praying for you and your family. God will give you the peace you desire about this situation. You are a truly loving and wonderful mommy and whatever is going on is NOT your fault.

Okay, first of all kuddos to you for two posts done so quickly...I thought I wouldn't hear from you til Christmas:)
Second-Parker looks so adorable in his soccer uniform. I'm sure he will adjust with age to whatever sport he plays! I think we are going to try t-ball this year with Thomas.

I love him in his cute little uniform. Don't know what you are worried about, but give me a call. I'd love to chat. I'll say a prayer for whatever your worries are.

Let's do the zoo again soon!

I think he'll come around! It's gotta be a little intimidating at first.. and hey! Maybe its just like you said the other day maybe its soccer. Maybe something a little more one on one would be good at this age and soccer would be something he will grow into?! I dont know!! Just keep trying and you will be blessed!
