Labor day weekend we went to the lake with the Neely family. I can not say enough nice things about this family. For all who know them you will know what I am talking about when I say they are truly one of a kind. They are fun, laid back and just.... AWESOME!!! The weekend was easy and that is not always the case when you take 4 adults and 5 kids (all 5 kids under the age of 4).
It couldn't have been any more relaxing. The big boys went golfing our first morning there (I think that was how we got them to come on this trip that and the promise that they could watch football the entire time.). Amanda and I went to the pool during nap times. At night we would put the kids to bed and watch the first season of "Friday night lights". It was awesome!!!!! While we were at the lake we had a love connection. When Amanda and Matt moved to Ohio Charlie was about to turn 1 and Reese was only 7 months old. At the lake now being at the ripe old ages of 2 and about to be 2 they discovered that they liked each other. There personalities reminded me a lot of both of their parents. Charlie is laid back and very easy going. Reese is well....NOT! She is high maintenance and crazy. Cason and Matt may start telling Charlie to run. Thomas and Parker are always sooooo excited to see each other (Parker can never sleep the night before we are going to see them.) but usually by the end of a trip they are needing to be separated. (only if they are together 24.7 for more than 3 days) Andrew is the newest addition and on this trip I fell head over heels for this precious little guy. He is one of the sweetest babies I have ever seen. He will smile at you and make you feel like you are his favorite person....until you see him smile at his mommy, then there is no question. Anyways it was AWESOME and I hope this truly does become a tradition we can keep going.

WE had such a blast as well! We will definitely have to do it again and make it a tradition:)
Seriously, Reese and Charlie, we are gonna have to watch them as they grow up:)
So true about Thomas and Parker after three days of 24/7 they need a break. I think it will get better as they get older:)
We miss you guys! Mark you calendar March 30th-April 4th. Hopefully, I will see you before then:)
